I have been doing this professionally for over 18 months, but it all started out caring for family and friends furry pets over 3 years ago!
Hiring a dog walker can be beneficial for both you and your beloved pet. Dogs need regular exercise to stay healthy and happy, and sometimes our busy schedules make it difficult to provide them with the necessary physical activity they need. A dog sitter can ensure that your pup gets the exercise they require to maintain a balanced lifestyle.
The length of the walks will depend on your dog’s needs and energy levels. I suggest an hour walk, most importantly the walk will be tailored to your dogs activity level and needs.
At Kirsty’s Dog Caring Services, I currently only offer individual 1-to-1 walks. Individual walks allow for one-on-one attention and cater to dogs who may not get along well with others. Group walks may be possible in the future, if requested.

Also, we will arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand, or even multiple and/or an assisted dog walk with you so you feel more comfortable leaving us on our own. I have extensive experience working with dogs of all breeds and sizes and am trained in handling different temperaments. Rest assured that your pooch will be in safe hands!

Safety is always a top priority during our outings. All dogs will be walked on secure leashes at all times to prevent any accidents or runaway situations, unless you give the okay for them to be off leash, and then attention will be paid to any hazards. During a dog sit, or back home measures will be taken to ensure your dog does not escape, and in terms of any dangers left about such as human food, or in the case of troublesome doggos things they could chew etc.
Rain or shine, I am committed to providing the best care for your furry friend. If your dog is happy to walk in the rain I will bring along a towel so your house remains clean. If your dog does not like rain, I can sit with them inside, I can play with them indoors and/or do other enrichment activities. On hot days, walks will be scheduled during cooler hours to prevent overheating, and water breaks will be provided to keep your fur baby hydrated.

During the meet, I can also address any additional questions you may have and determine the best plan of action for your dog’s routine.
